Cancer, stroke, heart disease, blindness ....  these are just a few of the smoking related diseases.  I have heard all the excuses - "My dad smoked 'til he was 82", all well and good - but was he healthy or did he die wheezing and in pain? Do you really want to gamble with your life that way - you never know which cigarette is going to kill you.  "I might get hit by a bus tomorrow", the chances of getting hit by a bus compared to dying of smoking related causes is minute.

Yes, it's very hard to quit smoking by will power alone as our habits sit in our unconscious mind.  I am a trained professional hypnotherapist.  Using Hypnotherapy, we access the unconscious mind and help you to become a NON SMOKER, whereby you can be around smokers and not even think about having a cigarette.  This amazing change occurs during just one 1 1/2 hr session.

How is your energy today?

What state did you wake up in this morning?  Were your first thoughts "Oh no, not another day" or "Oh yay, another day!!!".  The way we start our day has a great influence on how your day works out.  If we start the day downbeat and full of dread, then that sets the template for your day.  If we start off with enthusiasm and wonder for what the day will bring (even if you are still going to the same job), then possibilities open up and you will embrace little things that you may have missed otherwise.

So, a good exercise is to put an inspiring picture or quote on your bedside table so that when you wake up you will automatically have a positive starting point for your day.  Of course life can throw wammy's at us throughout the day, however if you started off in a positive, upbeat manner, you will much more likely weather the storm in a more constructive way and return to calm more quickly.  Try it, I'd love to hear your tips on starting the day in a positive way.

I have some great NLP techniques that can help you achieve calm very quickly and change any thought patterns or behaviour that is no longer serving you well.  In simple terms, NLP works by accessing the hidden parts of our unconscious where our beliefs and patterns lie and overwriting these unhealthy patterns and beliefs with ones that are more in alignment with how you would like your life to be.  Some examples: being more confident, overcoming a fear of heights, childhood trauma.
